LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) performs non-stop works for the Phase 1 of the 11.7 km LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project. Twenty-four transport groups urged President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Junior to use technology, intelligent transport systems in particular, to help improve the commuter experience. MMDA Formally Proposes Two-Day Number Coding, 4-Day Workweek To Ease Traffic

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has formally proposed a new number coding scheme that will ban cars on EDSA for two days. The proposal has already been submitted to the policy-making Metro Manila Council, and once adopted, may start as early as May 1, 2022.
