Geely Philippines ended 2022 with a 52 percent year-on-year sales growth. The Chinese carmaker sold 9,302 units, enabling it to gain one spot in terms of overall industry sales (eighth) with a 2.6 percent market share of the Philippine market.

Volvo Divests From Geely Engine Operations
Just a day after Geely and Renault announced an agreement to jointly develop, manufacture, and supply hybrid and internal combustion engines, Volvo has decided to divest itself of its 33 percent stake to Geely. This was announced at the same time as Volvo unveiled its new all-electric SUV, the EX90.
